Part Time, 28 hours


(Sunday, 8:30-2:30, Monday, 3pm-11pm, Friday, 3pm-11pm, Saturday, 8:30am-2:30pm)



*Provides training to residential consumers in the activities of daily living on an individual and small group basis. Implements individual goals and services recommended by the treatment team, according to methods, time frames, etc., outlined by the Residential Habilitation Plans.

* Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain a residential environment that promotes the well being of residents and the protection of their individual rights, while ensuring individualized services. Remains awake and on duty throughout the night.



.         Day/Evening Shifts:

*          All Skills Instructors must be 18 years of age, will be medication certified and have a valid NYS Driver's License with no moving violations twelve (12) months prior to hire.


.         Overnight Shifts:

       *   Same as above but DO NOT need to meet the driving requirement



*Successful completion of agency orientation requirements within first three (3) months of hire: Medication Administration, ARC driver certified, CPR and First Aid, SCIP certification, Lifting/Physical Assistance Techniques training, certification in Positive Approaches, Successful completion of All Staff Are Teachers (ASAT) training - within one year of hire.

*Will work successfully with assigned Peer Coach, and will complete all aspects of training within 3 months of class completion of Coaching Plan is required within first three months of hire.
