Salary to be commensurate with education/work experience


Responsible for submitting Medicaid and other Agency billings utilizing specialized software and/or paper vouchers as appropriate and ensuring all billings are submitted within the required timeline. Prepare monthly journal entries to record program revenue and the corresponding receivable to the general ledger. Record payments when received; track and collect outstanding receivables and resolve billing issues, ensuring corrective action is taken as necessary. Many duties are confidential in nature.


Responsible for the overall purchasing needs of the agency. On a day-to-day basis will assure that the materials and supplies needed by any program within the agency are available.


Responsible for handling cash receipts and performing cash audits for all programs within the agency.




  • Associates' Degree in Accounting or Business Administration and more than one year of experience.
  • Proficiency in computer skills:  
    • Experience using Billing software Fund EZ and NYS eMedNY system preferred.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel (intermediate skills) including familiarity with manipulating large amounts of data.
  • Strengths in organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet assigned deadlines.
